Two new records for Gareth

Gareth Wignall turned his focus to long-distance time trials and achieved club records over 100 miles and 12 hours.

On 23rd June  he achieved a 100 mile time of  3hrs 58mins 34secs - an average of 25.15 mph. This beat the club's 1987 record by a huge 12 minutes and 51 seconds.

On 11th August he went for an even tougher event, the National 12 hour time trial in Norfolk. Gareth achieved 255.03 miles (21.25 mph) comfortably beating the 1973 record of 249.680 miles.
