One puncture at Braughing. Took so long to fix that the 9 who buggered off and left him to it had finished at the café in Puckerkidge by the time the victim and his three friends got there!  32 miles

Cat 5 ride led by John F

11 riders out today for a 40 mile trundle through Herts & Essex lanes via Wareside, Widford, Perry Green, Allens Green, Sawbridgeworth, Sheering, Matching Tye, Matching Green to Village Tea Room at Hatfield Heath. After prompt servings of snacks and teas & coffees we were soon on our way again through Ryes Lane where the manhandling of the 'Bananamobile' over the obstacles caused some amusement. Our return route continued through Hatfield Forest, Little Hallingbury, Spellbrook, Green Tye, Much Hadham, Babbs Green back to Ware.

Cat 3 ride led by Peter

Eleven of us turned up at Hertford for the mystery tour, and went into the wind via the lanes to join the B656 just north of Codicote.  Then up to Hitchin and Stotfold with the obligatory tea break at a new venue for us, Bickerdikes Garden Centre, Norton.  Then the wind assisted return.  Few punctures but no major hassles on a beautiful winter's morning.
