It was a nice, calm, warm evening on the A414. Wheelers entries were down with several regulars absent for various reasons. However, Graeme Hill made an appearance and posted 35:09. Unremarkable you might think until you know that this included the time it took him to fix a puncture!
Tony was the fastest Wheeler. His 22:27 was only 28 sec slower than his time the previous week on the much faster F20.
Four private entries helped fill the field. One of these, 24 year old Lloyd Chapman, in his first year of serious racing, posted a 20:33. A name to watch!
