Clubruns 20th October

At 9:00 most of the county was sinking under the weight of the torrential rain that was being dropped upon us all.  Many thought *** it, rolled over and went back to sleep.  Sadly the ride leaders can't do this and have to turn up anyway...... and were rewarded with almost perfect conditions.  By 09:45 it was necessary to stop and get some of the waterproofs off or be cooked in a bag.  Both rides (each consisting of seven) had a warmish, sunny morning for their journeys.  The easies suffered a couple of punctures (ok, it was the same person) and but both tours returned at about 14:00.  Within about half an hour the heavens reopened and the pre-ride morning weather was resumed.
