Club Runs Sunday 6th September 2015

Cat 6 run led by Mike E
A straightforward trip to Codicote was drawn out by four punctures, including one before we set off, plus very slow service at Vanstone's Garden Centre. Still, the weather was great. Eighteen riders over 33 miles.

Cat 5 run led by John F
Ten wheelers set out from Hertford through Waterford, Watton, Walkern, Halls Green where an unwell Patrick decided to return home. The remaining nine continued via Weston where shortly afterwards Steve picked up a puncture, which with no spare tube available had to be fixed by the old fashioned method. As the initial fixing was not entirely successful Lesley stayed back with Steve and the rest of us carried on via Graveley, Great Wymondley to the Four Leaf Clover café in Hitchin. Steve & Lesley finally turned up for a quick tea & cake before our return leg. Steve also had to borrow a tube from Peter as the earlier repair was leaking air again. Return through Charlton, UP  the hill by Offleyholes Farm, Preston, Hitch Wood, Rustling End, Nup End, Rabley Heath, Oaklands, Bulls Green back to Hertford. 42 miles.
