Notes:
- You will only be able to post, edit and delete rides in the categories allowed for your role.
- The “All Rides” listing in the dashboard will include some rides from the past. You can ignore these. They will not appear in the schedule
Scheduling a new club run (Ride)
Either:
- Click + New in the admin bar and select Ride or;
- Go to the dashboard, point at Rides and select Add Ride.
- All fields except “Notes” are required.
Editing existing rides
Either:
- Navigate to the Schedule page and hover over the ride you want to edit. Edit and Bin links will appear. Click on Edit or;
- Go to the dashboard, point at All Rides, point at the ride you want to edit and click either Edit (classic editor), or Edit (block editor). [You probably want the classic one.]
Deleting rides
You can delete rides, both those posted by you and those posted by others, but take care with this!
Either:
- Navigate to the Schedule page and hover over the ride you want to edit. Edit and Bin links will appear. Click on Bin or;
- Go to the dashboard, point at All Rides, point at the ride you want to delete and click Bin.
That’s it! It’s gone! No “are you sure”! However, deleted rides are moved to a “bin” where they remain for a period – typically 30 days. You can find and view the bin on the All Rides page – look near the top.
Non-standard start locations
If the start location is not in the list select “Not in list” and give details of the start location in the Notes.
