  • Phil’s time of 1:00:47 was enough to renew his faith in his time-trialling after a difficult couple of weeks.

  • Clive took part in the Medium Gear 25 mile TT (86"Restricted) section and finished with a time of 1:05:55. It was his first time on the course and he is getting in some reasonable early season times.

  • Brian (24:13) trumped Peter (25:03), Phil (25:04) and Merv (29:14) on a very windy and cold A11. The crosswinds made the bikes more difficult to control but Brian coped the best.

  • Clive’s 1:07:08 was a good early season time in reasonable conditions near Sawston. The event winner completed in just under 49 minutes, although nobody else got within 7 minutes of that time.

  • Merv took part in this at Risby, just outside of Bury St Edmunds. Encountering a strong southerly wind he recorded 1:08:09, less than 18 minutes behind the (much younger) event winner.
