Starting 1 minute ahead of Le Hutch, Peter wanted to see if he could get to 4 minutes before being passed. At 5mins 7secs he got his answer. This spurred him onto a course PB of 23:19. (Hutchinson – 18:10).

Alas the Tortoise Tea Room is living up to its name as it cannot cope when a group turns up. However the ten who went to Parrishes at Thaxted had a good morning out.

The start of the Weds tours, but only three turned up. Should be more next week as word gets around.

This was another dank, damp and windy evening west of Hertford. Given the conditions, seven competitors was not too bad. Nick and Tony continued their rivalry at the top. This time Nick came out ahead.

On an eastwest course with a moderate north easterly wind, Peter scraped by with 24:15 and Merv came in with 26:17. In perspective, Le Hutch (18:37) beat 2nd place by over 2 minutes.
