Wheelers' Road Race - Full Results and Report

There was a misty start around the north end of the course, but sunshine and a rising breeze soon encouraged some hard and fast riding with 22 minutes being the average lap time.
In the end Colin Bailey won the event by out-sprinting Charles Pearson, the highest placed Junior rider. Just 3 seconds later another seven riders contested the group sprint when Paul Fielding (St Ives CC) just held off Steve Nevin (Finchley RT) for the 3 ^rd and 4 ^th place.
