Welwyn Track League - 1st Aug

There was a good turn out for this week's event. Tony reports on his rides:
" The scratch race was very slow and tactical and finished in a sprint. I left my effort too late and finished 6th. In the A/B handicap I got caught with 2 laps to go and, surprisingly, the A group sat on us setting up another big sprint but, sadly, I was lost in the field. The last B race was the "Devil" with 2 riders being taken out each lap (one lap being 480m) until there were 4 riders left. I stayed out of trouble, survived till the end, and sprinted for 3rd place and some more league points ."
