Cat 5 run led by Sarah W
A welcome return for Cathy to the Cat 5 run!  Six of us for Clavering Lakes and after mixing it with the Cat 6ers out through Fanhams we split off for Much Hadham and all points north via Rickling.  A very pleasant ride in a nice bit of sunshine, which even seemed to cheer up the café staff.  The wildlife highlight of the day was spotting a pure white hart in a herd of deer (photographic evidence available from Patrick).  Thanks to all for a lovely ride with pleasant company.

14 wheelers set off today full of the joys of spring in ever improving weather. It was nice to see the return of those who for various reasons have been missing for the past few weeks. Bruno was the club's official cameraman for today's ride and set off up the road to get himself  positioned somewhere where he could film the peloton whizzing past at great speed and in perfect tight formation. Surprisingly this didn't happen but he did manage to pick the perfect spot to film Martin hitting a greasy patch of road and crashing. Luckily he wasn't too badly injured and they are going to split the £250 they get from you've been framed. Win win!
We arrived at our cafe stop 5 mins before my ETA and ended up being about half a mile short of the advertised distance. ( I will try to do better next time)
A few wheelers made their own way back, two of them because they were going to watch the world's greatest football team and another for a reason best not talked about. Nudge nudge wink wink Mike.
Great fun, great company.
