Members regularly take part in Audax, sportive and charity rides, either individually or in groups, over distances ranging from 50km to 200km (and in the case of one member up to 1400km!).
In 2005 John Cannon organised the first Wheelers’ Audax using a 200km route that went through 5 counties. Shorter rides of 160km (=100 miles), 100km and 50km were added and rides continued over various routes until 2024 (with a brief interruption for Covid). Considerable sums were raised for various charities.
