Three Wheelers; Brian Evans, Tony Marriott and Spencer Stratford entered this event on a new course. This covered part of the North Road Hardriders course but without any easy bits. Basically it was non-stop up and down and included the climb up Carbonne Hill into Newgate Street and Darnicle Hill up towards Hammond Street. Brian reports …
The day was warm, sunny and reasonably still.  The course was tough but as I got back into Newgate Street with a mile or two to go I descended quickly to Darnicle Hill. As I rode up hoping the finish line was close, the hill seemed to go on for an eternity. I was close to vomitting as I reached the top but then could not see the finish line. After another 30 seconds it came into view and I was happy to freewheel across it. 
It was, no doubt, the toughest 10 mile TT I have ever done and look forward to the flat of the track racing that starts in Welwyn Garden City on the 26th April.
Tony rode the quickest time of 26:54 which gives an idea of how hard the course was. Spencer finished in 29:30 and Brian in 29:36.
