On a bright but cold morning at Digswell Karl Willis held off a determined challenge from David Daniels to retain his title.
Behind these two there was some very close racing with just 22 seconds separating 3rd from 10th. There was also an impressive performance from 15 year old Joe Rider in his first competitive event and riding a heavy hybrid bike in amongst all the carbon fibre and lightweight wheels.
A successful event "enjoyed" by all and followed  by a pleasant club run to Baldock.
