Merv rode in the Icknield RC 25 on the A1 at Tempsford. It was a favourable morning for once and he was able to record what he says was a ‘reasonable’ time, improving on his best this year by over two minutes. His time … more ->

The Wheeler’s Open 10 mile time-trial, which took place on 25th June, resulted in a dead-heat between Luke Clarke of Team Milton Keynes and Nik Bowdler of Team PedalRevolution.co.uk. Both finished in a time of 20:08. Third was Nino Piccoli, also of Team PedalRevolution.co.uk, … more ->

A head wind on the return leg made it a bit of a stuggle. Brian Evans returned after his bout of Pneumonia and was happy with his time.  Nick was unlucky to puncture.

Conditions were very good this evening on the F20.  7 riders took part.  Once again the top 3 were close, 5 seconds splitting them. The road bike boys saw great improvements in the good conditions Nick and Tony finishing in the same time both posting above 25mph avg.

A reasonable evening on the F20.  8 riders took part.  Top 3 were close all on TT bikes Nick and Tony not far behind then on road bikes.

PhilY (1:02:37) retained the Garrett Cup with an impressive victory over PeterW (1:02:43) and BarryP (1:04:04).  In very trying (windy) conditions, the journey north caused many riders to have a slower than expected time although on the return many experienced speeds in excess of 30mph.

Merv and Steve rode this on a sunny but windy day on the E2. Steve recorded a 24:20, Merv, still recovering from illness, recorded 26:16. The winner was Richard Evans of Chelmer CC in 19:58.
